About

Everything begins with listening to you

I work in physiotherapy and rehabilitation with the belief that every patient’s story is unique.

Even two people with the same diagnosis differ in their needs, daily lives and pace of recovery. That’s why I begin every process with a detailed assessment: together we discuss where the pain or swelling comes from, which movements are difficult, and how it affects your daily life.

I focus in particular on lymphedema and lipedema therapy, scoliosis-specific exercise and manual therapy. What these fields share is that they require patience and consistency, so I stay in close contact with my patients until the process is complete, explaining what we do and why at every step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions

What happens at the first assessment?
Before a program begins, I listen to your complaint and carry out a physiotherapy assessment with movement, posture and muscle tests, plus the necessary measurements. The aim is to clarify the source of your complaint together; afterwards you are under no obligation to continue.
How do I make an appointment?
You can fill in the appointment form on the site, or reach me directly by phone or WhatsApp. The form does not create a fixed booking; after receiving your request I call you and we set a suitable day and time together.
Which areas do you accept clients from?
My clinic is in central Kağıthane. Alongside Kağıthane, I work with clients from Seyrantepe, Gültepe, Çağlayan, Şişli, Levent, Eyüpsultan and nearby neighborhoods; the location is easy to reach by public transport. I accept clients from every district of Istanbul, on both the European and Asian sides, including Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, Maslak, Bakırköy, Başakşehir, Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Ataşehir. The M7 and M11 metro lines stop at Kağıthane, and I am open until 22:00 on weekdays.
Where should I go in Istanbul for lipedema or lymphedema?
First see a physician for the diagnosis (vascular surgery, dermatology or physical medicine for lipedema; oncology, vascular surgery or physical medicine for lymphedema). After the diagnosis, choose a physiotherapist trained in this field who works with measurements and in cooperation with your physician. At my practice in Kağıthane I run lymphedema and lipedema programs with the Complete Decongestive Therapy approach in one-to-one sessions; I accept clients from all over Istanbul and the first consultation starts with measurement.
I live on the Asian side; how is the program planned?
For clients coming from districts such as Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Ataşehir I plan sessions around the commute: intensive-phase days are grouped back to back, evening and Saturday slots are available, and times are chosen with bridge traffic in mind. Being able to keep coming is part of the program, so we discuss this at the first consultation.
Do I need a doctor’s report or referral for physiotherapy?
Not for the first assessment. However, a diagnosis is made by a physician; in some cases a physician’s opinion (examination, imaging) is advisable first and I will tell you so clearly. Bringing any MRI/X-ray and physician reports speeds up the process.
How long is a session and how many are needed?
Session length and total number depend on the type of complaint, how long-standing it is and the goal. New, simple cases may ease noticeably within a few sessions, while established conditions can take longer. At the first assessment I give you an estimated range; an exact number is not guaranteed.
Which complaints do you help with?
I focus particularly on lymphedema and lipedema, scoliosis-specific exercise, manual therapy, lymphatic drainage and clinical pilates; low-back and neck pain and post-surgery rehabilitation are also included. You’ll find the details of each on its service page.
